Re: Douglas Moo’s apparent leap into interpretive confusion. (Saying some of the 144,000 could be Gentiles)
I recently took a class using Moo’s book: Encountering the Book of Romans: A Theological Survey”.
I struggled to explain to the instructor and the class the unique and mandatory nature of the existence of the Jewish people.
In my view only option four captures God’s plan for the Jewish people as a separate and distinct nation for God to use and redemption in the last days.-
How was your explanation ultimately received? I’ve encountered similar resistance many a time.
